Daily sprint for illustrators: 10 minutes of color
This sprint (with English subtitles) is designed for illustrators looking to create expressive artwork that grabs clients' attention. It features a daily 10-minute drawing practice where we will create 3 stunning portraits (both close-ups and full-body figures). You will be able to apply these new skills to magazine and commercial illustrations, as well as live events.
This is a sprint for illustrators who want to:
- Break free from monotony and bring vibrant color and energy to their drawings.
- Elevate their drawing skills.
- Build a systematic approach and develop strong discipline.
- Receive professional feedback.
What are we going to do during the sprint?
1. We will draw two close-up portraits from a front-facing and a 3/4 view using the author's signature technique. We will work with color step by step, drawing two different models with fair and dark skin.
2. You will learn how to capture an expressive look in your portraits, master values and tones, and stylize hair and clothing. These techniques can easily be adapted for live event sketching.
3. We will draw a female figure, capturing the energy of her movement through dynamic colors and expressive details.
4. Daily step-by-step practice: Just 10 minutes a day.
5. All participants who complete all the sprint assignments will receive a certificate.
